Palliative Care is an interdisciplinary medical specialty that focuses on preventing and relieving suffering and on supporting the best possible quality of life for patients and their families facing serious illness. It is a patient and family-centered approach to care, focusing on expert management of pain and other symptoms. Grant funding from Women in Philanthropy ensures the palliative care team remains fully dedicated to caring for the physical, mental, and spiritual needs of our patients.
