Health care workforce burnout rates, turnover, and lack of engagement have surged in recent years. Growing research demonstrates that support within one’s workplace may have a greater impact than therapy sought outside, or taking mental health days. This grant would fund 10 RNs completing the Certified Nurse Coach program. Support of certified nurse coaches provides our team with support on-site, coping mechanisms and mentorship from peers. The goal is to help reduce anxiety, stress and fatigue of our nurses and invest in their wellbeing.
