Mens Giving Circle

The Men’s Giving Circle is a group of forward-thinking gentlemen who care deeply about improving the quality of health care in our community. Throughout the year, they gather to discuss men’s health issues in a way that is both fun and educational, including physician lectures, networking socials and educational voting meetings.

Every year, the hospitals of Morton Plant Mease present opportunities requiring funding to the Men’s Giving Circle, who decide as a group where their gifts will be distributed. To ensure all voting members are able to make an informed decision on where their collective gifts are allocated, the program’s grant and/or physician champion leads an educational presentation. Past topics include prostate cancer, nursing recognition, memory disorders, stroke, sports medicine and orthopedic surgery.

Founded in 2016, members of the Men’s Giving Circle are dedicated to promoting and financially supporting the hospitals of Morton Plant Mease through annual gifts of $1,000 or more.

For more information about Men’s Giving Circle, please call Lindsey Daniel, Manager of Annual Philanthropy, at (727) 461-8636 or email at Lindsey.Daniel@baycare.org.

Mease Countryside Hospital Interventional Radiology Suite

Thanks to grant funding from the Men’s Giving Circle, Mease Countryside Hospital will now be able to upgrade its Interventional Radiology suite with biplane technology to treat complex neurovascular cases, vascular, and a range of non-vascular interventional procedures. Biplane imaging utilizes two rotating cameras, one on each side of the patient, to produce simultaneous and highly detailed images of blood vessels, soft tissue, and blood flow in real-time. 3-D biplane imaging helps our physicians create a “roadmap” to follow the path of blood flow through the patient’s vessels to treat the exact location of disease.
