The Operating Rooms in the Labor and Delivery departments at both Morton Plant and Mease Countryside Hospitals will be awarded a Valleylab Energy Platform-Ligasure technology system for the obstetricians to use to enhance outcomes for patients who experience a post-partum hemorrhage and require a hysterectomy as a life-saving intervention. This needed equipment will provide the tools needed to reduce the mortality rate and improve outcomes for our patient population who experience life-threatening bleeding.
