On Monday, December 14th, the 37th Annual Dr. George Morris Memorial Morton Plant Mease Health Care Foundation Golf & Racquet Sports Tournament will be held at the prestigious Belleair Country Club. All proceeds from this elite tournament support our exceptional nursing students at the hospitals of Morton Plant Mease.
The Dr. George Morris Earn as You Learn (EAYL) nursing program was established to attract and retain the highest quality nursing team throughout the hospitals of Morton Plant Mease. The EAYL program provides participants interested in becoming a nurse the opportunity and support to attend nursing school, while gaining clinical experience by working part-time in one of our hospitals.
Golf Tournament Timeline:
- Registration and Lunch - 11:00 AM
- Shotgun Start - 1:00 PM
- Dinner - 5:30 PM
Racquet Sports Event Details and Timeline:
- Co-Ed for Pickleball (No Partner Needed): Round Robin with Three Divisions (Beginner/Recreational, Intermediate, Advanced)
- Prizes for 1st and 2nd in each Pickleball and Tennis Division, as well as Overall Best Dressed for each Sport
- Registration and Warm Up: 1:30 PM
- Tournament Start Time: 2:30 PM
- Reception Opens: 5:30 PM
