Morton Plant North Bay Hospital will now be able to obtain new X-ray equipment that will be situated in the emergency department instead of the radiology department – allowing more X-rays to be performed per hour and improving throughput. This X-ray machine will be dedicated to emergency department patients, whereas the machines in the radiology department are used for inpatients, outpatients, walk-ins, and emergency department patients. Once the construction of the new space is built, a plaque will be placed on the wall outside of the X-ray room recognizing Women in Philanthropy.
