WE ARE MORTON PLANT MEASE! 
 

We did it! Having come to the conclusion of this year’s Caring for Our Community (COC) Campaign, I am honored to report that thanks to the generosity of our team members, volunteers and physicians, we set an ALL-TIME campaign RECORD by raising a grand total of $389,000 for our hospitals, team members and community. Talk about “Family Caring for Family”.

 

For the second straight year, it has been a tremendous privilege representing each of you in this worthwhile campaign.  In today's economic times, your accomplishment in not only exceeding our goal, but breaking the all-time record, speaks loud and clear about our values and your desire to make a difference. 

 

With the Family Care Fund match, so generously created by members of the Senior Management Team, we will topple the previous COC record by having raised over $575,000 in gifts!!  I can't say how proud I am to work with such a generous number of people.  In addition to surpassing our monetary goal, this year we also saw the highest number of team members returning their forms (79%).

 

Last, but certainly not least, I wanted to send a very special thank you to all of our Caring for Our Community champions who volunteer their time to make this all happen. We honestly could not do it without your hard work and dedication. Thank you all for making this the most successful Caring for Our Community Campaign of all time!

Over the past decade, the team members of Morton Plant Mease have contributed more than $3 million, recognizing them collectively as Benefactors to the Foundation. Our Benefactors are a remarkable group of philanthropists that have contributed $1 million or more cumulatively over their lifetime to ensure that quality health care is available in our community.
