Walsingham Immediate Care Center opened to the public on March 25 and has office hours seven days a week. The center offers on-site laboratory and radiology testing, and includes six patient exam rooms and two procedure rooms. “We understand that urgent medical treatment can’t wait and in the evenings and on weekends, it’s not always possible to see your family physician or appropriate to go to an emergency room. Providing immediate care services is an integral part of ensuring the good health of the community,” added Jacobs.

Walsingham is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Saturday and from noon to 6 p.m. on Sundays. It is staffed by board-certified physicians. Patients in mid-Pinellas County requiring emergency medical care could use the newly constructed Bardmoor Emergency Center located on the first floor of the Bardmoor Medical Arts Building at 8839 Bryan Dairy Road in Largo. The center opened to the community in March and is the Tampa Bay area’s first freestanding emergency room (ER). Freestanding ERs are those that are separate and not attached to an inpatient hospital structure.
