The Society bears the name of the man who exemplified the personal and financial leadership necessary to establish Morton Plant Mease Hospital as a distinguished health care center. Following the tradition initiated by Mr. Roebling, the Society recognizes those individuals who understand the universal need for improved health care on the Wall of Honor in the Ptak Grand Lobby at Morton Plant Hospital.
