Caring for Our Community Campaign
July 23 - August 31, 2012

As your Caring for Our Community executive champion during the past few years, it has been a tremendous privilege to represent such a compassionate group of people who feel so strongly about making a difference. In fact, last year our team members, volunteers and physicians came together to help raise over $375,000! In today’s economic times, your accomplishments speak loud and clear about our values and the power of philanthropy.

Once again this year, we have the opportunity to show how much we care about our fellow team members, hospitals and community. You can choose to create a safety net for team members in need through the Family Care Fund; provide support to our Foundation, which funds nursing scholarships, new technology for our hospitals and programs for our patients; or build a healthier and stronger community through United Way.

The Caring for Our Community Campaign runs from July 23 to August 31. Last year we introduced the option to give online. I would encourage you to consider making your gift to the campaign using the online pledge form that can be accessed directly from the BayCare Intranet under the “More Stuff” tab. Simply select “Team Member Giving” and then “Morton Plant Mease” to access your personal online form. The link will also be emailed to all of our team members as well.

Making your gift online not only helps to make our community greener, it saves administrative expenses. That means putting money to work in ways that really matter – helping somebody who is relying on one of these organizations for assistance.
